Shell Pearls are made from the inner lining of oyster shells, which is also known as Mother of Pearl, Paua or nacre (material produced by some molluscs as an inner shell layer; it is also the material of which pearls are composed). Shell pearls are quite stunning and much less expensive than saltwater pearls. Shell pearls will keep their color and shine and will not be affected by sweat and perfume and are extremely durable.
